How can an app made by MS be an Unknown Publisher??
My options are to Run Anyway or Don't Run. Why do I feel nervous running it anyway?

Skype For Business Results
In MAP 9.3 I am not seeing any results for Skype for Business. I see the two earlier instances (which have no users) Lync 2010 and Lync 2013. But we have since migrated to Skype for Business 2015 and it does not show up in the results anymore. Is this
a bug or is there something more I need to do to get the results for our true up. I need the number of users actually using Enterprise licenses and who is just using a standard license.

4-Level Domains is not visible on inventory and Assesment Wizard

Ihavefaced with a problemwith Map Toolkit v9.3 AD DS Scenario - it doesn't findand inventory the domainsof 4-th level of depth (and more). Example : example site2.site1.com - visible; site3.site2.site1.com - not visible Do you have the solution of this problem?

Azure VM Capacity Report Machines could not be sized Insufficient Data
I’m having an issue with MAP Toolkit on Performance data. The report we are wishing to get data on is the Azure VM Sizing report. However we are getting Insufficient data on about half the servers. There is no common theme between any of these servers. In total we have run performance collector for about 3 hours total. The report is attached to this email.
Troubleshooting steps I have taken:
- Verified local admin on all servers that we are trying to collect performance data on, and that is the account that we have used in the performance collection wizard.
- Verified port 135 is open and am able to query WMI remotely.
- Enabled Remote Administration.
Please let us know how else we can troubleshoot?

When i specify one computer to scan, MAP scans all computers. Why?
I'm choosing the option to specify a specific computer to scan. Yet, when I run the scan, other computers are getting scanned. We know this because we see security events in other computers' logs. Why is this happening? Why doesn't MAP just focus on the
one computer I have specified?

Updating Map Data using only manually added or Imported computer names
I want to get additional information from my SQL servers and non Microsoft systems. I have the inventory from AD and have run the system scans against all the systems. I now want to get the systems that were offline and additional information on the SQL databases.
When I put the systems that I wanted to scan into a file to import, and ran the inventory it looked like it re-scanned all the systems again not just the ones I was looking for. When I ran Resource monitor while this was running I could see network traffic going to all the systems that were already in the database.
I want to gather data from the SQL servers in batches not all at once so I don't cause performance issues.
Is there anyway to just run the MAP tool against the systems I want to look at in batches not all at once. I need to do this for Unix, Linux, SQL Oracle and systems that are offline. I don't want to creat separate databases and have to merge them all together
Also
If I have to create a new database.. Can I..
1: Add 10 systems and run a detailed SQL query against them.
2: Add the next 10 systems to run the scan against.
3: add more.. etc etc etc
In this case will it run the full detailed scan against all the systems as I add the new ones or will it know it has the information and skip then successful systems and only scan the new ones that have bee added

Does any one have a database *diagram* of what the MAP database looks like?
Does any one have a "database diagram* (aka Entity Relationship Diagram) of what the MAP database looks like? ...not just one generated from SQL Management Studio (that's good starting point) but one that described all of the parent-child objects relationships as well as those tables that are effectively just shadow tables for existing objects (e.g. extended metadata)?

How to use MAP to collect Office version, license keys on hostname
Is it possible to use MAO to collect windows OS, Office version, license keys on each host? For example PC1 is running windows 7, office 2013, and perhaps license keys.

wwn details on a Windows Host connected to a SAN
Hello ,
I am running MAP against some Windows Servers. These Servers are provided space from SAN. The inventory shows which san is attached and the amount of space allocated. (I believe that this is the details of the space assigned from the LUN).Is it possible to capture the wwn details using MAP.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Can this Toolkit give out false data
We had an audit and the IT professional used the MAP toolkit to audit the servers in each establishment. The IT professional was logged in with Domain administrator credentials and the toolkit was installed and allowed to run. The report that came from the audit was that the tool had pulled out incorrect information about their setup and users. Is this possible.

Number of Total Cores for SQL Server in a virtual environment
Using MAP, is it possible to get a count of the total number of cores if we have licensed the VM hosts for max virtualization? For example we licensed all cores on a VM host but MAP seems to show more cores based on the sql server guest machines. I'm guessing this is because virtual cores is not the same as physical cores.
How can I get an accurate count of cores for SQL Server in a virtual environment by using MAP?
