Any idea on when we should see an update to MAP? It's getting pretty long in the tooth. Is MS going to just drop it?

Refresh Assessment failing
I am trying to refresh the assessment after collecting performance data for the last 2 weeks. I keep getting the following failure. Map Toolkit version 9.3.

Disk performance counters blank
I ran a collection for a couple of week against 25 servers and looking at the performance report all the disk based performance counters are blank. I have stats for CPU and memory but no disk. It reported on space but not on queue lengths, iops, reads/writes.

Is there a MAP Hyper-V Scenario?
Is there a way to do a Hyper-V scenario, where current physical servers are assessed for migration to a Hyper-V server as guests VMs?
Or is it just the VMWare scenario, and one assumes it would be about the same for Hyper-V?
Seems odd that there would be a VMWare scenario and not a Hyper-V scenario.

4-Level Domains is not visible on inventory and Assesment Wizard

Ihavefaced with a problemwith Map Toolkit v9.3 AD DS Scenario - it doesn't findand inventory the domainsof 4-th level of depth (and more). Example : example site2.site1.com - visible; site3.site2.site1.com - not visible Do you have the solution of this problem?

inventory failing
hi
this is my 1st time ever using this. i've downloaded v 9.4 and am trying to run this on an organisations set up.
- they don't have a windows server and they don't connect to a domain , they're all workgroup!
-all their pc's which are a mix of XP, Vista, 7,8 & 10 all PRO versions
- they all share a common admin account
i've installed it on one of their pc's and run it as admin , telling it to use windows network protocols to discover. i've given it the details of the local admin account and it goes off and finds 39 machines, however it is only managing to get the inventories of 5.
we need to know all their licencing details and what software they have and this is driving me mad!!
please help :)

Scan Logging
I am attempting to scan my SQL Servers. I gave it a list (file) of 107 machines, and the program reported "58% Success". I cannot find a scan log to tell me what connection/authentication issues I had on that other 42% "unsuccessful".
I looked throughout folders in MAPS install, in the database tables, etc.

Running MAP tool though Jump Servers
I was able to list out all the SQL instances in my network using the MAP tool, we have some more in another place which can be only accessed via Jump Servers.I need to enter my ldap and an RSA token to get through the jump server. How can I used MAP in such a scenario? Please help

Unable to Collect Performance Data for servers using WMI
Greetings all!
I've been tasked to "collect performance data" for several MS servers (2003, 2008R2, 2012R2) using MAP 9.3
I have installed MAP 9.3 on a Windows 7 machine that meets all requirements (hardware, all Windows updates, .NET Framework)
I have a total of 14 MS servers that I would like to collect performance data.
First step I have taken was to run "collect inventory data" which has been100% successful for all servers.
(to collect inventory data, in Inventory and Assessment Wizard I have selected "Windows computers" > "Manually enter computer names and credentials > entered the credentials domain\username with WMI technology)
*** When I attempted to collect performance data using the "Performance Metrics Wizard" the processFAILED
I soon learned that WMI required certain firewall ports opened on the server attempting to collect performance data and I decided to focus on one server only.
I made sure that the Domain Admin credentials have Local Administrator rights
I have taken the following steps on the server (2008R2):
1. Turned off Windows Firewall for Domain, Public, Private profile
2. Enables Remote Administration Exception
3. Ran WBEMTEST (Win Instrumentation Tester) tool from Windows 7 PC connecting to the 2008 R2 server and I was able to authenticate
After everything checked out, I pretty much ran out of options: PLEASE HELP!
Here are the exact steps I have taken to collect performance data in MAP 9.3 using the Performance Metrics Wizard
1. Selected "Windows-based machines"
2. Chose the server from the list
3. Entered the credentials (domain admin with local computer admin rights)
4. Credentials Order >> WMI Technology (domain\username)
5. Made sure Remote Registry services were started on the Windows 7 machine
6. Clicked "Finish" to start the performance data collection
7. Collection Status: FAILURE
... no idea what to do. Please help. I was unable to insert picture because my account is not verified. I have many screen shots that I can provide.

MAP tool - User and devices are not up to date
Hello,
i have a question about the MAP tool. Why don't appear new users/devices in my current scan? MAP tool is only updating existing entries.
New user and computer accounts (created after initial scan) are not listed in my reports. I have to create a new database to see the updated entries. Same with deleted accounts. Do I use the false settings or is this a bug?

Applcations per server
I know that MAPS lists all applications per instance. I there a way using MAPS to list applicaitons per server. In this case only servers are inventoried using a txt file list.

Oracle discovery for version 12c

Is MAP tool provide support for SSIS, SSRS and SSAS

I have collected inventory for SQL Server using MAP tool but I also want to know whether MAP tool also collected inventory for Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting Services (SSRS) other than database engine.

SQL Server Database Summary not working.

So I am using the Assessment and Planning Toolkit to track all the changes made to the database/servers over time. Today when I run the program everything worked fine until I opened up the SQlServerDatabaseDetails spreadsheet and went to the DatabaseSummary tab. All that is listed is below.

Why has it stopped working. I have tried multiply times to Collect invertory data, I have gone as far as create a new database and start from the beginning again.

How to delete previous inventory and collection
Hi all,
When I collect inventory data and after finish when Inventory and Assessment wizard appears it shows me count for my previous ran inventory in Retrying from previous inventory.
How can I remove or reset the value of it?

Signature corrupt or invalid
When downloading Mapsetup.exe version 9.4 I get an error: "The Signature of mapsetup.exe is corrupt or invalid". OS: Winsrv212R2. I can see the certificate and signature fine when rightclicking file after downloading.

"The powershell collector requires at least one All Computers credential."
I am using the MAP toolkit 8.5 and getting the following error when using a few of the collectors. Most work fine with a domain admin, but some don't..
"The powershell collector requires at least one All Computers credential."
Can anyone shed some light on what credential I need? Are we talking Active Directory All Workstations? Computers? I don't see anything called All Computers.
