Hi All,
I'm facing an issue when generating MAP 6.0 report.
I have Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bits English with Office 2010 ProPlus English
I downloaded and installed .NET Framework 4.0 Full (dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64)
I downloaded MAP6.0 (Microsoft_Assessment_and_Planning_Toolkit_Setup)
I downloaded SQL Server 2008 R2 Express (SQLEXPR_x86_ENU)
I installed MAP, and during install directed to SQL Express setup file,
After installation was done I launched MAP and created a new DB,
Then I went to "Discovery and Readiness" - "Windows 7 Readiness" and clicked "Run the inventory and assessment wizard",
I went through the wizard, selected "Windows-based Computers" Only and using AD DS Discovery method,
In the AD Credentials I gave a Domain Admin user and password,
In the AD Options I selected the Workstation OU,
In the All Computers Credentials I wrote the same Domain Admin user.
The Inventory process ran for a full day.
When the process was completed I clicked "Generate report\proposal" and after the "Proposal generated 1of1" I got an error message saying "Microsoft assessment and planning toolkit summary document could not be generated due to an error in the document generation process".
I tried to run the inventory once again and ended up with the same error message.
So far I tried to use another PC for the inventory and generating but still getting the same error message.
I also tried to use Windows XP with Office 2007 and SQL Server 2008 Express - but no lock there
Has anybody faced this error before?
When I searched for this error I found some posts saying it's an issue with Office installation but the error occurs on 3 different machines with 2 different Office versions (and one of the machines is a fresh installation)
Any help will be much appreciated...
