I have several MAP databases. I am trying to merge them using DCP tool consolidate script i.e. Consolidate-MAP-Databases.ps1. hen I am running the same it throws the below error. I did some analysis . Seems this machine doesn't have any SQL Server agent or SQL Server Browse service running it only has SQL Server VSS Writer service but this is the machine where I ran MAP and collected these databases successfully. How come without SQL MAP was functioning correct? Does that mean I need to reinstall SQL server and Create a MAPS instance? or is it just a instance name/connection string issue?
