I've installed the Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit for a number of reasons. When I ran it the first time, I generated a 'Detailed SQL Server Report' which listed a lot of information including 'SQL Server Version' example: 10.50.1600.1. After I installed SP2 for SQL Server R2 and re-ran the report, I expected to see version 10.52.4000.0 in the report. It doesn't. It still shows the earlier version. If I run a version query on the SQL instance itself, it returns the correct version 10.52.4000.0.
I've tried editing the current 'Collect inventory date'. I created a new 'Collect inventory data'. I've generated new Standard and Detailed SQL Server Reports, but it continues to show the previous version. It would be nice to run this report from time to time and collect valid, current information about my SQL farm.
Hoping I've over-looked something simple. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
